Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL) is looking to hire an experienced Financial Analyst to provide detailed financial and cost analysis for SRNL Research and Operations organizations. Applies a theoretical knowledge base to work to achieve goals through own work. Characterized by specific functional expertise typically gained through formal education. May provide guidance to others using technical expertise. Requires the application of expertise in professional area(s) to achieve results. Positions within the Professional Career Band typically require a university degree or equivalent work experience that provides knowledge of and exposure to fundamental theories, principles and concepts. Responsible for a wide range of activities including gathering data, organizing information, analyzing historical results, making forecasts and projections, making recommendations, and generating Excel models, presentations, and reports. This role demands a proactive approach to financial and cost analysis, ensuring that funds are meticulously maintained and that all variances are addressed promptly and efficiently. The ability to work under limited supervision and apply sufficient techniques are essential for the successful execution of the responsibilities associated with this position. Responsibilities:
