Description SUMMARY Provides the accounting management team with accurate and timely financial information by researching and analyzing accounts; ensures transactions meet regulatory and compliance requirements and works closely with the accounting team to support financial operations and reporting. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. Ability to write clear and accurate reports, business correspondence, and procedural documentation. Ability to effectively communicate financial information and respond to questions from managers, employees, members, customers, and external stakeholders. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical accounting situations. Ability to develop, review, and interpret financial reports and data. REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical accounting and financial problems and work with a variety of variables in situations with limited standardization. Ability to interpret and follow written, verbal, diagrammatic, and schedule-based instructions. OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to accuracy and detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multitask environment while managing competing priorities. Ability to communicate efficiently and professionally with accounting management, internal partners, and external vendors as needed. Must be computer literate with working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software. Ability to learn and effectively use association-specific financial systems and accounting software. Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to view a computer screen, review documents, and observe site conditions. This role operates in both a professional office setting and at customer or project sites. While in the office, the employee uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. Site visits may expose the employee to outdoor weather conditions, construction or infrastructure environments, and moderate noise levels. The position requires frequent travel, both domestic and international, and may involve extended hours to meet project or customer needs.
