Job Overview

The Transportation Supervisor acts as the operational heartbeat of our guest arrival experience. This hands-on leadership role oversees the dispatching and performance of the Bell, Valet, and Driver teams. You will ensure seamless logistics by managing reservations, optimizing staffing levels in real-time, and maintaining the high service standards of a premier luxury resort.

Essential Job Functions



  • Operational Oversight: Coordinate and assign tasks to drivers and valet attendants to ensure peak efficiency and timely guest service.
  • Arrival Experience: Supervise the hotel check-in flow, managing traffic patterns at the main entrance and parking facilities to maintain a premium first impression.
  • Administrative Excellence: Manage billing procedures and guest data utilizing the SMS system; maintain accurate departmental logs and records.
  • Leadership: Direct on-shift staff, providing real-time coaching and backing up the team by performing driving or valet duties as needed.
  • Communication: Serve as the central dispatch for transportation reservations, maintaining a professional composure during high-volume periods or last-minute scheduling changes.
  • Facility Standards: Ensure the valet office and resort entrance remain pristine and welcoming at all times.


Qualifications



  • Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Compliance: Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) to meet insurance requirements. A clean driving record must be maintained.
  • Experience: Proven background in hospitality or high-end customer service; previous supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite, email, and web-based dispatch/PMS software.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephonic presence.

  • Flexibility: Ability to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Appearance: Maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance and adhere to the resort uniform policy, including slip-resistant, white athletic footwear.
  • Agility: Ability to multitask in a fast-paced outdoor and indoor environment.
