Job Summary The Senior Research Administrator manages the organization, planning, establishment, and monitoring of fiscal budget control of grant and contracts administration, proposal submissions for faculty and unit research programs. This role provides comprehensive pre-award and post-award services related to grants management, proposal preparation and review, award administration, and financial activities. The position manages high volume and highly complex transactions. Reviews and guides others in the review of financial and administrative management requirements of grant and contract proposals, awards, and transactions to ensure compliance with institutional and sponsor policies. This position will work both on campus and remotely in Texas. Travel and parking expenses are the employee's responsibility. This position is contingent upon a successful background check.
