The IT Technical Recruiter will manage the full-cycle recruitment process for IT leadership and technical roles within McLane's IT & Digital teams. This role partners closely with IT and HR executives as well as hiring managers to attract top talent for positions such as IT leaders and executives, software engineers, data analysts, cybersecurity specialists, and infrastructure professionals. Success in this role requires strong sourcing skills, technical acumen, and the ability to deliver an exceptional candidate experience aligned with McLane's values. What you'll do as an IT Technical Recruiter: * Recruitment Strategy: Develop and execute sourcing strategies for IT roles, leveraging job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, and niche platforms. * Job Marketing: Collaborate with Marketing to assist in creating compelling job postings that showcase McLane's culture and career opportunities, transforming descriptions into engaging advertisements and promoting the employer brand through social media, recruitment videos, and enhanced career site content. * Continuous Candidate Engagement: Build and maintain talent pipelines through proactive outreach, networking, and participation in tech events. Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and passive candidates for future opportunities, maintaining an active network of potential hires. * Screening & Assessment: Conduct initial interviews to evaluate technical skills and cultural fit; coordinate technical assessments and interviews. * Collaboration: Partner with IT hiring managers to understand role requirements and advise on current trends in the IT talent market, including emerging skill sets, and competitor hiring activities, to inform recruitment strategies and advise hiring managers. * CRM & ATS Management: Utilize McLane's Applicant Tracking System and CRM tools for candidate tracking and communication campaigns. * Brand Advocacy: Work with Marketing to promote McLane's employer brand through social media, recruitment videos, and career site enhancements. * Compliance: Ensure adherence to McLane's policies and equal employment opportunity standards. * Internal Mobility: Support internal career progression by identifying qualified employees for open IT roles. * Vendor Engagement: Manage relationships with external recruiting agencies and technology partners when needed, ensuring quality and cost-effective services. Qualifications you'll bring as an IT Technical Recruiter: * Bachelor's degree in IT, Human Resources, Business, or related field. * 5+ years of experience in technical recruiting or IT staffing. * Detailed familiarity and experience with IT roles and technologies (e.g., cloud, networking, software development). * Proficiency with ATS and sourcing tools. * Strong communication and negotiation skills. Preferred * IT specialist technical background or experience * Experience with recruitment marketing and employer branding. * Knowledge of McLane's operational environment or supply chain industry. * Certified Technical Recruiter (CTR) is a plus. * SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus. Performance Metrics: * Time-to-fill for IT roles. * Candidate experience scores. * Quality of hire and retention rates. * Hiring Manager satisfaction rates.
