Why This Role Matters

The Corporate Insurance & Safety Manager plays a critical role in protecting Didlake's people, assets, and operations. This position ensures the organization maintains appropriate insurance coverage, minimizes financial and operational risk, complies with safety and regulatory requirements, and promotes a safe, healthy working environment across all corporate and program sites.

What You Will Do

Insurance & Risk Management



  • Oversee and manage all corporate insurance programs, including property, general liability, workers' compensation, automobile, and other required coverages.
  • Track insurance renewal dates and annual renewals; collaborate with the Facilities Director and insurance brokers.
  • Communicat coverage requirements to insurance carriers to ensure proper coverage and cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage the recording, processing, and resolution of all claims involving third parties or organizational property damage.
  • Coordinate claims management and loss control activities across the organization.
  • Gather, analyze, and maintain claims data for recordkeeping, loss forecasting, and financial exposure analysis.
  • Prepare insurance reports, loss analyses, and insurance-related budgets.
  • Identify organizational risk exposures and promote loss prevention initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with insurance policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.
  • Manage relationships with brokers, insurers, third-party administrators (TPAs), and other service providers.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of all external insurance and claims reports.
  • Provide insurance and allocation reports to leadership and the Accounting Department.
  • Maintain accurate and organized insurance, claims, fleet, and compliance records.


Fleet & Vehicle Administration



  • Update and maintain corporate fleet and fuel management accounts.
  • Review and approve monthly fuel, vehicle lease, and Enterprise rental invoices.
  • Forward vehicle maintenance invoices to appropriate departments.
  • Issue fuel passcodes to new authorized drivers.
  • Add and remove authorized users from corporate vendor accounts, including Home Depot.


Safety & Compliance



  • Inspect or coordinate inspections of workplaces to identify hazards and assess risk.
  • Design, implement, and enforce organizational safety policies and procedures.
  • Develop and lead safety programs to reduce accidents, injuries, and occupational illnesses.
  • Coordinate and ensure completion of required emergency drills at all worksites.
  • Respond to, investigate, document, and follow up on workplace incidents and emergencies.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations.
  • Conduct or coordinate safety and compliance training for staff and leadership.
  • Maintain required safety documentation, reference materials, and workers' compensation records.
