STS Technical Services is hiring a Bilingual General Assembly Training Coordinator to support a growing manufacturing operation in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This on-site role is responsible for onboarding, skills training, and safety awareness across production and assembly teams. If you are fluent in English and Spanish and have hands-on experience in manufacturing or assembly environments, this position offers long-term stability and growth.


Position Overview

The Bilingual General Assembly Training Coordinator works closely with HR, Safety, and Operations teams to deliver classroom and hands-on training focused on general assembly fundamentals, electrical basics, blueprint reading, and safe work practices. Training is delivered through a blended learning approach that includes classroom instruction, hands-on demonstrations, and modern training tools.


Responsibilities

  • Partner with HR and Safety teams to identify training needs, performance gaps, and safety improvement opportunities
  • Deliver classroom instruction covering basic math, tape measure reading, electrical fundamentals, and blueprint reading
  • Conduct training using books, videos, online manuals, virtual reality tools, and testing
  • Assist with on-the-job training by organizing procedures and coordinating trainer and trainee interaction
  • Track training progress and maintain accurate training records
  • Monitor shop floor procedures to identify safety and training-related issues and improvement opportunities
  • Conduct new hire safety orientation and onboarding training
  • Reinforce proper use of hand tools and general assembly techniques
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to training and safety

Qualifications

  • Experience in training, teaching, or workforce development
  • Knowledge of safety and HR training practices in a manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of electrical fundamentals and blueprint reading
  • Familiarity with light fabrication work including drilling, forming, wire stripping, and crimping
  • Knowledge of common hand tools used in assembly and manufacturing
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and be self-directed
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Must be fluent in English and Spanish
  • Ability to commute to a Milwaukee, Wisconsin worksite
  • Previous experience in material handling, electrical assembly, general assembly, or wire harness fabrication preferred
