Medical Assistant McLean VA Pay From: $20 Per Hour MUST: 3+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a high volume multi-specialty practice site GI experience a plus Rooming patients and obtaining vitals Obtaining detailed medical histories Assisting with GI exams and procedures Entering and updating patient information in EMR and ensuring records are up to date Administering injections and EKG's GI experience a plus Preparing and sanitizing rooms High School Diploma or GED DUTIES: Duties include but are not limited to the following: Room patients Obtain vital signs and detailed medical histories Review list of current medications with patients Administer injections Assist with exams and procedures Document patient information and interactions in EMR Schedule follow up appointments Respond to patients inquiries over the phone and thru the portal Provide patient education Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
