The Keck School of Medicine (KSOM) of the University of Southern California (USC) and Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) in the Department of Surgery in the Division of Ophthalmology, are actively seeking a full-time faculty member for the position of Assistant Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology. The Vision Center at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, an affiliate of the USC Roski Eye Institute, is seeking a full-time pediatric retina surgeon to join a world-renowned center to advance both regional and global care for children at risk of going blind due to retinal diseases. In addition, the applicant will be working closely with our NIH funded research team using stem cell technology to model and study human retinal diseases. The applicant should have completed a two-year surgical retina fellowship and preference will be given to those applicants with an MD/PhD who have working knowledge of stem cell methodologies. Candidates should possess the appropriate board certifications for the specialty and be able to satisfy the requirements for a California medical license.
