Job Description




As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Everett, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, you will conduct routine rounds and mobile patrols, stay visible to help discourage incidents, and respond to alarms and security-related concerns with clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license in the job state. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government utility location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or public responders as directed by post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and document visitor and/or contractor entries in accordance with site procedures.
  • Complete patrol logs and incident reports, communicate observations to site contacts and/or supervisors, and support follow-up actions as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
