Sales Solution Director - BESS

Responsible for serving as a technical sales specialist by promoting and selling our BESS energy storage solutions, analyzing customer requirements, and providing technical engineering support in the North American market; collect and analyze technical requirements for energy storage projects; identify risks and develop system solutions during product development; provide technical communication and product promotion of energy storage; follow up on customer needs for energy storage, decompose requirements, and carry out product development and change management initiatives; leverage knowledge of Energy Storage related products and R&D technology to make recommendations to customers; create sales and service contracts for products leveraging in-depth knowledge of the North American BESS market, while also providing customer support for the installation and use of our BESS product line; coordinate with R&D, Delivery, and other departments to promote seamless project implementations; assist with the drafting and review of technical documentation for the BESS product line; ensure all engineering projects follow all standards of NFPA 855, UL1973, UL1741 and IEC 62933, as well as additional standards required by the AHJ; collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements, promote the sale of company products, and provide sales support; leverage technical knowledge to educate customers on our energy storage solutions and product line, providing feedback to internal teams on product modifications based on customer feedback; utilize and apply knowledge of energy storage system solutions, NFPA 855, NFPA 68, NFPA 69, UL 9540A, UL 9540, IEC 62933, U.S. energy storage products/regulations, North American market product roadmap development activities and data analysis, ArcGIS, Python, AutoCAD, R&D technologies, energy storage systems/layouts modeling, MATLAB, PLECS, and engagement with North American energy storage market and customers (integrators/IPP/owners) to perform duties; achieve sales performance targets in the North American Region; develop new clients by mastering market dynamics and competitor activities, as well as maintain existing clients by identifying client needs and building good customer relationships; handle daily sales activities; and collect and analyze business data, delivery management, and accounts receivable collection.

Location: Smyrna, Tennessee, and multiple undetermined worksites throughout the US;

Salary: $192,000 per year

Education: Bachelors - Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);

Training: None;

Experience: Three (3) years in the position above, as the Head of Project Engineering - ESS, as a Project Engineering Lead, as a Senior Product Engineer, as a Product Engineer, as a Technical Solution Engineer, or in a related occupation;

Other Requirements: Experience must include three (3) years use of all the following: energy storage system solutions, NFPA 855, NFPA 68, NFPA 69, UL 9540A, UL 9540, IEC 62933, U.S. energy storage products/regulations, North American market product roadmap development activities and data analysis, ArcGIS, Python, AutoCAD, R&D technologies, energy storage systems/layouts modeling, MATLAB, PLECS, and engagement with North American energy storage market and customers (integrators/IPP/owners).

Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience.
