The mission of the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is to work collaboratively toward the prevention of homelessness and the creation of lasting solutions for homeless and at-risk families, children, and individuals throughout Colorado. The Administrative Assistant provides essential administrative and operational support to the Integrated Health Services leadership team and associated departments, including Behavioral Health Services, Client Access, Dental, Medical, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Psychiatry. The position serves as the administrative support and liaison to the CCH Consumer Advisory Board. This position plays a key role in coordinating internal communications, managing data and reporting needs, supporting meetings and events, and ensuring smooth day-to-day administrative operations.

    • Valid driver's license required. This requirement may be waived, if necessary, based on overall candidate experience and current needs of the business.

Essential Job Functions
    • Provide high-quality internal and external customer service, demonstrating professionalism, emotional intelligence, inclusivity, cultural humility, and alignment with CCH values of respect and dignity.
    • Collect, enter, and manage data for reports and presentations across multiple platforms (e.g., HMIS, EHR), ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and appropriate privacy and confidentiality.
    • Ensure timely and accurate use of all required CCH systems (e.g., EHR, HMIS, Dayforce, SharePoint), maintaining complete, up-to-date records and adapting to system upgrades as directed.
    • Maintain organized and compliant filing systems (digital and physical), and manage clerical functions including scanning, faxing, emailing, and document creation.
    • Track and reconcile department-related expenses and reimbursements; submit timely and accurate documentation to the Accounting Department.
    • Monitor and coordinate the maintenance and functionality of office equipment, program vehicles, and other operational needs.
    • Prepare correspondence, program materials, internal memos, and other written content as needed; process and route documents for approval.
    • Schedule and coordinate internal meetings and events, including logistics (room setup, technology, guest speaker support, materials preparation); take meeting minutes and distribute follow-up items.
    • Oversee supply ordering and inventory; maintain clean, organized, and welcoming shared office spaces.
    • Support inclusive and trauma-informed administrative practices, including respectful communication, accessible materials, and responsiveness to consumer and staff feedback.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Summary
    • Knowledge of issues impacting people experiencing homelessness and sensitivity to underserved populations.
    • Strong technical skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); ability to learn and master CCH systems including EHR, HMIS, and Dayforce.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; professional, timely, and tactful in interactions.
    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Demonstrated commitment to equity, inclusion, and anti-oppressive practices in working with colleagues and clients.
    • Education and Experience
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative support or a related field preferred.
    • Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness, mental health conditions, or substance use disorders strongly preferred.
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
$20.64 - $25.14 an hour
