Job Description

Are you detail-oriented with a passion for ensuring top-notch product quality? We're seeking a Designated Quality Representative to play a critical role in verifying and auditing our products before they reach our customers. This is your chance to work hands-on with industry-leading clients, make an impact on product excellence, and collaborate with a team that values precision and teamwork.

Schedule: Friday-Monday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

What You'll Do

As a key member of our quality team, you will:

Primary Responsibilities

  • Follow all procedures and maintain strict adherence to quality standards

  • Obtain and maintain Self-Release certifications for key customers (e.g., GE, P&W)

  • Conduct visual and other inspections to audit parts prior to shipment

  • Verify serial numbers and maintain full traceability in digital systems

  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors and customers

  • Coordinate with shipping teams to prioritize audit workflow

  • Document non-conformances and clearly communicate findings

  • Work with upstream inspectors/operators to resolve quality issues

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Review and disposition scrap castings and customer returns

  • Prepare scrap materials for revert processing

  • Evaluate rejected parts for potential rework

  • Determine and coordinate rework methods to restore conformity

  • Re-inspect parts to confirm successful rework

  • Maintain accurate records in Lot Control & AQCS systems

  • Support additional quality tasks as needed

What We're Looking For
  • Experience in visual or quality inspection (1-3 years preferred)

  • Knowledge of inspection methods (FPI, Grain, X-Ray, Dimensional) is a plus

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints (preferred)

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent visual acuity and color perception

  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team

  • Ability to manage conflict constructively and work in a team environment

  • Willingness to obtain and maintain required certifications
