We're seeking a Designated Quality Representative to play a critical role in verifying and auditing our products before they reach our customers. Schedule: Friday-Monday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM What You'll Do As a key member of our quality team, you will: Primary Responsibilities Follow all procedures and maintain strict adherence to quality standards Obtain and maintain Self-Release certifications for key customers (e.g., GE, P&W) Conduct visual and other inspections to audit parts prior to shipment Verify serial numbers and maintain full traceability in digital systems Collaborate with internal and external auditors and customers Coordinate with shipping teams to prioritize audit workflow Document non-conformances and clearly communicate findings Work with upstream inspectors/operators to resolve quality issues Secondary Responsibilities Review and disposition scrap castings and customer returns Prepare scrap materials for revert processing Evaluate rejected parts for potential rework Determine and coordinate rework methods to restore conformity Re-inspect parts to confirm successful rework Maintain accurate records in Lot Control & AQCS systems Support additional quality tasks as needed What We're Looking For Experience in visual or quality inspection (1-3 years preferred) Knowledge of inspection methods (FPI, Grain, X-Ray, Dimensional) is a plus Ability to read and interpret blueprints (preferred) Strong attention to detail with excellent visual acuity and color perception Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team Ability to manage conflict constructively and work in a team environment Willingness to obtain and maintain required certifications Why You'll Love Working Here Stable, full-time schedule with consistent hours Hands-on role with real impact on product quality Opportunity to work with industry-leading customers Collaborative team environment with room for growth Keywords: quality assurance, quality control, inspection, visual inspection, product audit, compliance, self-release certification, GE, P&W, FPI, X-Ray inspection, dimensional inspection, blueprint reading, non-conformance, traceability, rework, scrap evaluation, lot control, AQCS, manufacturing, aerospace, aviation, mechanical inspection, precision measurement, attention to detail, teamwork, collaboration, problem solving, conflict resolution, continuous improvement, process improvement, military skills, military veterans, veteran-friendly, aircraft maintenance, technical skills, safety standards, operational excellence, mission-focused, disciplined, detail-oriented, hands-on, certification training All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
