  • Operate and train others on material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, barcode scanners).
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on lean practices and inventory optimization.
  • Mentor and train junior material handlers, promoting best practices and compliance with ITAR, AS9100, and Mercury standards.
  • Validate transactions for accuracy and ensure full traceability of materials.
  • Perform advanced cycle counts, physical inventories, and audits of stocking locations.
  • Process MRP transactions accurately and efficiently; maintain understanding of SMT components and feeder/machine attrition.
  • Regular attendance required; occasional overtime may be necessary.

Required Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or GED.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in material handling, inventory control, or stockroom operations.
  • Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and inventory management tools.
  • Strong understanding of kitting, BOM interpretation, and production support workflows.
  • Experience with inventory reconciliation.
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability electronics manufacturing
  • Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality systems
  • Knowledge of ESD-safe handling and hazardous material protocols
  • Prior experience supporting DoD contracts or government-regulated production environments
