As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist guests and tenants with clear, professional communication. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license and meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements, as you may operate a company vehicle while supporting a reliable, caring team that acts with integrity and adapts with agility and innovation.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and/or visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, storefront perimeters, parking areas, and service corridors; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and report unauthorized entry, suspicious behavior, and/or maintenance hazards to the appropriate contacts in a timely manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing assistance and coordinating with onsite management and/or responding agencies as directed.
• Complete required reports such as incident reports, patrol logs, and/or shift activity notes, and communicate security-related concerns during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
