As an Allied Universal Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will greet drivers and associates, verify credentials, manage entry and exit points, and help maintain smooth traffic flow at the gate. You will conduct routine rounds, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, document activities, and communicate clearly with site leadership. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and employees by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Operate an access control post by verifying identification, processing visitor and contractor check-in and/or check-out, issuing badges and/or passes as assigned, and directing arrivals to the appropriate dock, yard, or office area.
• Control vehicle access by checking bills of lading and/or shipping documentation as assigned, confirming appointments when required, and coordinating with site personnel to help support orderly entry and exit.
• Monitor alarms, radios, phones, and camera systems as assigned, and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the building, docks, yard, and perimeter, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns through required reports and logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
