Thomas College is seeking a Camp Director to lead the daily operations, student experience, and logistics of a 3-week overnight summer camp for high school students focused on robotics, innovation, and leadership.

The Camp Director provides strategic leadership for student enrollment efforts for the Summer Robotics, Innovation, and Leadership Camp hosted by Thomas College. The role is responsible for driving awareness, cultivating prospective students, and advancing enrollment outcomes in alignment with program goals. This position operates with autonomy, represents the camp externally, and ensures recruitment efforts are organized, professional, and results-oriented over the five-month recruitment cycle. The recruitment part of the role is part-time, up to 20 hours per week between the months of February - June, 2026.

The Camp Director is the primary on-site leader responsible for student supervision, residential life, scheduling, logistics, and overall camp operations. Instructional content is delivered by designated content facilitators; this role ensures that students experience a safe, engaging, well-organized, and supportive residential program. Full length of full-time employment will be 4.5 weeks (July 2026). The position is required to stay on campus overnights, during the duration of the 4.5 week assignment.

Must have knowledge of youth development principles and best practices for working with high school students. Must have the ability to supervise students in a residential or overnight setting. Basic proficiency with email, scheduling tools, and documentation.

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience. Prior experience in camps, residential programs, education, student affairs, or youth programs. Experience supervising high school-aged students required. Experience in overnight or residential programs strongly preferred. Familiarity with college campus environments preferred. CPR/First Aid certification preferred, or willingness to obtain prior to camp. Successful completion of background check required.
