AsaProject Coordinator Analyst, you'll play a key role in Pacific Life's growth and long-term success by working as a liaison between business partners and technology, supporting technology projects and developing a career as a technology professional. This role combines deep requirements and systems analysis expertise with structured coordination across Product, Compliance, Vendor Management, New Business, and Advisor Services. You will manage project routines, schedules, RAID logs, communication cadence, and cross team alignment while supporting Project Managers, Product Owners, and Engineering leads in delivering high quality solutions.

You will join a dynamic team of Analysts and Developers and Database Administrators in a fast-paced technology environment in the Consumer Markets Division. This role will be on site at either our Newport Beach, CA or Omaha, NE office.

How you'll help move us forward:

  • Lead conversations with business partners and technical teams to coordinate the execution of midsize to large projects
  • Apply data and process analysis principles to produce customized reports
  • Writing and maintaining complex technical documentation
  • Maintain project schedules, milestones, and workback plans across multiple teams and vendors.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings-standups, workstream touchpoints, technical reviews-and publish clear followups and action logs.
  • Own and maintain RAID logs, ensuring risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies are documented and escalated appropriately.
  • Represent Technology area and coordinate with efforts across the enterprise, including Corporate IT, CAB coordination or Enterprise KTLO activities.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly status reports, dashboards, and project documentation for stakeholders and leadership.
  • Coordinate crossfunctional deliverables and ensure alignment across Product, Engineering, Operations, Compliance, and Vendor Management.
  • Support Product Owners and Program Leads with governance materials, steeringcommittee updates, and decision logs.
  • Ensure projects meet internal standards for security, risk, and regulatory adherence in partnership with Compliance.

Theexperience you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business Administration or equivalent education/experience
  • 5+ years in Systems Analysis or Business Analysis or Project Coordination within enterprise environments in Financial Institutions, preferably in annuities administration.
  • Strong experience coordinating multiteam projects with detailed schedules and structured documentation.
  • Handson experience with Agile or hybrid SDLC practices and backlog management tools such as Azure DevOps.
  • Advanced communication, facilitation, and stakeholdermanagement skills across technical and nontechnical groups.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point), online collaboration platforms such as Mural, and collaboration tools such as Teams and SharePoint.
  • Strong problem-solving and solutions driven mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

What makes you stand out:

  • Formal Project Coordination or PM experience with enterprise-scale initiatives.
  • Previous proven experience leading small to midsize technical projects
  • Strong familiarity with Agile Methodologies such as SCRUM or Kanban
  • Basic to advanced knowledge of SQL and/or XML
  • Proven experience modernizing, enhancing, or automating systems and processes
  • Internals-Working knowledge of VASE, Vantage, DSS and/or wmA systems
  • Internals-Basic understanding of CMD Operations departmental processes
  • Certifications such as CSM/PSM, PMIACP, CAPM, CBAP, SAFe, or ITIL.
  • Exposure to API integrations, vendor platforms, workflow automation, and compliance technologies.

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

$113,490.00 - $138,710.00
