As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a cultural institution, you will monitor and patrol galleries and public areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet guests and staff, communicate clearly, document activity, and respond to concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, volunteers, and/or vendors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a cultural institution location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout interior spaces and the exterior perimeter, monitoring for unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor entry areas during services and events, assist with access control as directed, and help to maintain orderly queues and/or lines.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken per post orders.
• Communicate timely updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision, complete required reports, and support coordinated response with local responders when requested.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
