The Monetization Product team inside Microsoft AI is responsible for defining how we create user experiences with businesses that delight users and business models that empower brands to meet their goals.

We are looking for an experienced Product Marketing leader to be responsible for our Commerce solutions. As the web transforms with AI, agents and related disruptive trends, we aim to help business and brands engage with consumers in new ways in the evolving ecosystem. This role has solid collaboration with Product Managers, Product Strategy, User Experience, and Business Development in helping to define a product roadmap based on the needs of our partners and leading the articulation of our value proposition for this audience.

We seek an experienced product marketing leader who has a proven record of managing high performing teams, fostering collaboration, nurturing talent and embodying Microsoft's culture and values who is also capable of rolling up their sleeves to directly be a thought leader and strategist who can define competitive positioning, drive prioritization alignment, and influence action across teams. Solid customer-obsession, masterful collaboration with technical teams, ability to read the industry landscape and make bold bets is in this person's DNA. Additionally, the ideal candidate must have the ability to lead a fast-moving organization towards developing differentiated value for our customers, including our partners, and clearly articulating our product vision to the market. Starting January 26, 2026, Microsoft AI (MAI) employees who live within a 50- mile commute of a designated Microsoft office in the U.S. or 25-mile commute of a non-U.S., country-specific location are expected to work from the office at least four days per week. Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in business
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years people management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 12+ years experience in business
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 15+ years experience in business
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years people management experience.
  • Deep experiencewithShoppingsolutionsand broader Commerce verticals/businesses:Understandingofthequickly changing competitorlandscape, preferably inmonetizationscenariosbut also with consumer-side experience.
  • Change management:experience in leading the market through platformshifts,nascent product market fit building, and product stagetransitions.
  • Business-modelssavvy:ability to consider differentbusiness models and lead strategic discussions withstrategic customers to uncover new monetization opportunities.
  • 6+ years of experience working in the tech or ad tech industry.
  • Experience translating market trends and customer needs into strategic recommendations.
  • Natural leader with the ability to educate andinfluenceamidsthigh levelsof ambiguity and tight deadlines.
  • Proven ability to think strategically and creatively, whilemaintainingahigh-qualitybar for the team's execution.
  • Proventrack recordofleadingdifferentiated value propositionsand translating complex features into compellingnarratives.
  • Communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence across multiple levels of the organization and diverse range of partners.

Product Marketing M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $155,800 - $277,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $202,400 - $303,600 per year.
