We are seeking a highly motivated Structural/Civil Engineering Intern to join our team in McLean, VA. In this role, you will collaborate with a team of experts and work directly with our clients on some of North America's most impactful projects.

Your key responsibilities will be to:



  • Assist in creating innovative plans, designs, calculations, and cost estimates
  • Support problem-solving of complex engineering challenges with creative and practical solutions
  • Help develop technical specifications, engineering reports, and project documentation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to gather and analyze project information
  • Participate in site inspections and perform additional duties as required

On top of that, you will have:



  • Enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Motivation to obtain Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification and interest in pursuing Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
  • A strong desire to learn and actively participate in professional development
  • Excellent attention to detail, sound judgment, and effective problem-solving skills
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Familiarity with civil engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or structural analysis tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
