Senior Team Leader - Assistant Services
Job ID: 106510

Do you want to work on complex and pressing challenges-the kind that bring together curious, ambitious, and determined leaders who strive to become better every day? If this sounds like you, you've come to the right place.
Your Impact
As a Senior Team Leader in Assistant Services, you will be based in our New York office as part of the Executive Assistant leadership team. You will work with a growing team of Executive Assistants, EA leadership, and senior stakeholders, providing support to Northeast Partners and Senior Partners.
You will lead and develop a team of 10-15 EAs in addition to managing the Northeast EA Coverage Schedule. In this role, you will provide proactive coaching, performance management, and career development support to motivate team members and enhance overall job satisfaction.
Your responsibilities will include assessing individual and team development needs, designing, and delivering targeted upskilling aligned with goals and priorities; and fostering a high performance, collaborative environment aligned with firm values.
You will also partner closely with the Northeast EA Managers on development and implementation of strategic initiatives. You will serve as an escalation point for sensitive people matters, resolving issues with discretion and sound judgment.
You will lead the end-to-end performance management and evaluation process for your team, delivering continuous feedback, driving development, and proactively addressing performance gaps in alignment with firm standards. You will partner on recruiting and staffing, supporting candidate selection and staffing decisions to ensure a high-performing team and appropriate staffing levels.
In this role, you will also oversee the NE EA Coverage Schedule to ensure effective allocation of support resources, proactively monitoring patterns and adjusting coverage to maintain service continuity and deliver best-in-class support. You will coordinate backup and overflow coverage to ensure consistent service quality during absences, unanticipated departures, and high-volume periods.
You will oversee administrative duties including timesheet review/approval, monitoring overtime, approving vacation, and tracking sick time in accordance with firm policies and procedures.
Your Growth
You are someone who thrives in a high-performance environment, bringing a growth mindset and entrepreneurial spirit to tackle meaningful challenges that have a real impact.
In return for your drive, determination, and curiosity, we'll provide the resources, mentorship, and opportunities to help you quickly broaden your expertise, grow into a well-rounded professional, and contribute to work that truly makes a difference.
When you join us, you will have:
  • Continuous learning: Our learning and apprenticeship culture, backed by structured programs, is all about helping you grow while creating an environment where feedback is clear, actionable, and focused on your development. The real magic happens when you take the input from others to heart and embrace the fast-paced learning experience, owning your journey.

You'll make a tangible impact by offering innovative ideas and practical solutions, all while upholding our unwavering commitment to ethics and integrity. We not only encourage diverse perspectives, but they are critical in driving us toward the best possible outcomes.
  • Global community: With colleagues across 65+ countries and over 100 different nationalities, our firm's diversity fuels creativity and helps us come up with the best solutions. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to learn from exceptional colleagues with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
  • Exceptional benefits: In addition to a competitive salary (based on your location, experience, and skills), we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, mental health, and vision coverage for you, your spouse/partner, and children.
Your qualifications and skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent strongly preferred
  • 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience in a professional environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead in complex, fast-paced environments with senior stakeholders
  • Strong coaching, performance management, and people development skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and conflict resolution skills

  • Exceptional administrative and organizational skills with ability to manage competing priorities
