SUMMARY: The Supervisor is responsible for leading daily operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This role balances people leadership, process oversight, and compliance with company standards, while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and write English. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports for business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Familiarity with customer and company part #'s, blueprints and drawings. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as: discounts, interest, commissions proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: Ability to use computers with solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, Access and other data collection systems. Excellent typing skills required. Must be detail and quality oriented. Ability to work independently with little direction/supervision along with ability to work effectively as part of a team.
