Project Manager

Kratos Defense and Rocket Support Services is currently seeking a Project Manager in Huntsville, Alabama. The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects on time and within budget. This role coordinates cross-functional teams, manages resources, mitigates risks, and ensures alignment with organizational goals and stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets
• Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful execution
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues
• Communicate status updates, risks, and milestones to stakeholders and leadership
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
• Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate tools and techniques
• Conduct post-project evaluations and identify opportunities for improvement

Qualifications:

• Bacheloris degree in Business, Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5i7+ years of project management experience
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira)
• PMP or other project management certification preferred
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
