Arboricultural Consultant

As our new Arboricultural Consultant, you will join our market-leading team, working with inspirational
clients to deliver exciting, innovative, complex, and globally relevant projects, programmes, and

whenever we can. As a member of our team, you will collaborate with colleagues to play a critical role in defining and
delivering projects involving multiple clients across the United Kingdom. Our team is renowned within
Ramboll for its exceptional support and development of team members, helping them to become market
leaders in their areas of expertise. Your key responsibilities will be:
- Delivering Arboricultural support functions for Local Planning Authorities.
- Undertaking Tree surveys in accordance with BS5837:2012
- BS5837 report and plan preparation
- Acting as an Arboricultural Clerk of Works/ Arboricultural Works Site Supervisor.
- Tree hazard assessment surveying (PTI/QTRA/THREATS)
- Helping to market and develop the Arboricultural services offered to new and existing clients
About you
- Hold a degree or at least a Level 3 Arboricultural qualification, such as a Level 3 Diploma in Arboriculture (or equivalent)
- Possess demonstrable experience in relation to the UK's Planning systems with a robust knowledge of the Town & Country Planning Act 1990 and the Tree Preservation Order process
- Possess demonstrable experience in tree surveying, including conducting Visual Tree Assessments (VTA) and completing BS 5837:2012 surveys and reports within either an consultancy or commercial setting.
- Robust knowledge of ArcGIS & CAD packages to enable plan submissions to clients
- Be a confident and effective communicator to help develop client relationships whilst working on site
- Have a full clean UK driving licence; to travel to various job sites as required.
