Position Summary We are seeking a patient-focused Radiologic Technologist to join our Student Health Center team. Working under the direct supervision of the Radiology and Laboratory Services Manager, this role provides high-quality imaging services to our student population in a fast-paced clinic environment. This position focuses exclusively on diagnostic radiography within an ambulatory setting on campus, supporting diverse service specialties including Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, and General Primary Care. This role is strictly limited to plain film radiography; there are no requirements for fluoroscopy, surgery (C-arm), portable imaging, or contrast-related procedures. Salary & Compensation UCLA provides a full pay range. Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. Qualifications* 1-2 Years in an ambulatory, orthopedic, or urgent care setting (Preferred) New graduates with strong clinical rotations are welcome. Technical Aptitude: Ability to quickly adapt to technological advancements and evolving digital imaging software. (Required) Clinical Knowledge: Strong grasp of medical terminology and the ability to distinguish between various medical diagnoses and procedural requirements. (Required) Professionalism: Excellent telephone etiquette and the ability to manage high-volume lines with courtesy and tact. (Required) Critical Thinking: Proven skill in exercising independent judgment and decision-making during clinical procedures. (Required) Education, Licenses, Certifications & Personal Affiliations Completion of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program (Required) Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) (Required) AART Certification (Required) Fluoroscopy Certification (Required) BLS Certification (Required) Valid Certificate in diagnostic radiologic technology issued by the CA State Dept of Health (Required) Special Conditions for Employment Background Check: Continued employment is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory background investigation. Live Scan Background Check: A Live Scan background check must be completed prior to the start of employment. Age Requirement: Candidate(s) must be 18 years or older to be eligible to be hired. Pre-Placement Physical: Employment is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory physical examination. TB Test: Continued employment is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory TB test. CANRA: The position is designated as a mandatory reporter under CANRA. The employee must sign the "Statement Acknowledging Requirement to Report Child Abuse".
