LOCATION: Corporate - any COE SUMMARY: A Technical Specification Management Engineer develops, reviews and maintains detailed technical documentation, standards, and requirements for products or systems to ensure quality, compliance, and functionality. This position will bridge the gap between design, engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams by managing the technical specification lifecycle, including version control, revisions and stakeholder feedback. A.) in a Technical Field (Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, etc.) from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The ideal candidate for this position will have a broad knowledge of packaging, materials, equipment in the flexible packaging space, awareness of the sustainable space including standards and guidelines, and passion for educating, promoting, and growing sustainable packaging within APC and our customer base. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information predominantly technical in nature and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Skillful in presentation skills both in preparation and delivery is preferred. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis. REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
