We are seeking an HRIS Systems Analyst to support and enhance payroll systems and processes within Workday and API Symplr. This role is responsible for maintaining system integrity, troubleshooting issues, and partnering with HR, Payroll, and IT to deliver accurate and efficient solutions.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with Workday Payroll and strong knowledge of timekeeping systems, particularly API/Symplr. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Key responsibilities include supporting day-to-day operations of the time tracking system, maintaining and configuring pay codes, and assisting with payroll functionality in Workday. The analyst will evaluate processes for improvement, ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations, and support system testing, upgrades, and reporting.
This role serves as the escalation point for payroll-related inquiries, resolving issues independently while providing excellent customer support. Additionally, the analyst will document processes and cross-train team members to strengthen overall HRIS team knowledge. Job Summary
The HRIS Analyst II ("Analyst"), under general supervision, supports the management and optimization of HR Systems. This includes data conversion, business process design, configuration, testing, reporting, training, and ongoing system development and post implementation support of Workday and other HR systems. The Analyst is the first line of support for HR with a focus on process improvement, automation, and training.
The HRIS Analyst II assists with transformative projects across HR to reduce complexity, innovate on new capabilities or systems and improve the employee/manager experience. The Analyst supports the people side of change - including changes to, systems and technology, business processes readiness activities, communications, and partner on training.
The Analysts routinely collaborates with key stakeholders within HR to foster productive working relationships, understand business needs, areas for improvement and implements changes accordingly.
Essential Functions:
HR Systems Management Support the day to day operations of one or more Human Capital Management (HCM) areas in Workday, including Learning Management, Performance Management, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, etc. Maintains and configures the Workday system. Assist with testing of Workday changes including upgrades, implementations, and integrations with other systems. (30%) Systems Support Primary piont of contact for HR teams related to system changes, routinely collaborates with stakeholders withnin HR to understand business need, opportunmiteis for improvement and leads execution. Is the first line of support for end-users on HR systems by identifying and resolving application and process issues. (30%) Practice and Policy Assist in developing procedures, guidelines, and documentation for various HR systems, primarily Workday. (15%) Data Analysis and Reporting Design and generate standard and ad-hoc reports to support management in the areas of workforce analytics as well as required compliance reporting. (15%) Project Mangement Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned. (10%)

Strong analytical/diagnostic/excel skills with aptitude and passion for process improvement. Strong knowledge of HRSC/HR Operations business and process analysis functions; an analytical approach to solving system issues including understanding system interdependencies Strong understanding and skill in process and systems requirement documentation standards Ability to gather and analyze various types of data. Strong testing and test planning skills and experience Ability to work independently and in a team. Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment. Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organizational and multi-tasking skills.
