SummaryThis position is an internal, corporate IT position for Varex Imaging Corp.; a leading supplier of x-ray imaging components around the world. The BI Developer Intern conducts design, evaluation, modification, testing, implementation and documentation of business intelligence solutions across multiple enterprise-wide functional areas. This person should be able to clearly communicate with internal business owners to understand data needs and translate those needs into meaningful visualizations. The candidate should be interested in exploring BI development activities like data gathering, data management and data visualization. This position reports to the corporate BI manager and works within a local team of BI analysts where teamwork and interpersonal skills are important for success. This person must be fluent in speaking and writing English and communicate clearly with other internal employees. Job DescriptionSkills and Knowledge * Experience using Microsoft Office * Experience designing data visualizations in any top-tier BI tool; e.g. Qlik, Tableau, Power BI, etc. (Qlik is preferred) * Experience with SQL scripting and/or programming languages * Experience of SQL-based queries and data modeling Education * Pursuing a B.S.in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Intelligence or Data Science.
