The Opportunity: The Director of Project Finance & M&A is responsible for leading financial analysis, structuring and financial due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic investments in renewable energy assets and platforms across the United States and Canada. Reporting to the Head of Finance & Insurance, this role plays a central role in evaluating transaction opportunities, structuring project financings, and supporting capital formation activities, including tax equity, tax credit transferability, and project debt. The Director will work closely with the M&A, Business Development, Legal, Tax, and Asset Management teams, as well as external advisors and capital providers, to ensure robust financial evaluation and optimal financing structures for investments and operating assets. The role requires strong expertise in renewable energy project finance, financial modeling, tax equity structures, transferability, and project-level debt financing. To maximize collaboration and innovation, an essential function of this role is a regular onsite presence in an Enel office. What Enel North America Offers You: The pay range for this position is $150,000.00 to $225,000.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will be based on several factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, work experience, education, and internal equity.
