How You'll Make An Impact:

The Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications will lead the Company's global communications and public relations strategy and execution, with enterprise-wide accountability for the Company's reputation, narrative, and stakeholder trust. This executive role is responsible for building, shaping, and protecting the Company's public profile across all external audiences, ensuring clear, consistent, and credible communications aligned with business priorities, risk considerations, and long-term value creation.

As a senior advisor to executive leadership, this role provides strategic counsel on complex, high-stakes issues and transformational moments - including market expansion, regulatory developments, executive leadership changes, transactions, and corporate milestones. The SVP of Corporate Communications will define and amplify the Company's narrative as a leader in audio entertainment across music, podcasts, live content, advertising, and emerging formats.

What You'll Do:

Organizational Leadership

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing communications organization.

  • Develop annual operating plans, budgets, and KPIs to measure effectiveness, ROI, and enterprise impact.

  • Establish performance metrics tied to reputation, share of voice, executive visibility, organizational culture, and risk mitigation.

  • Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, adaptability, and continuous improvement.

Enterprise Strategy & Executive Advisory

  • Develop and execute an integrated corporate communications strategy aligned with business objectives and growth priorities.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the Chief Content Officer and executive leadership team on reputation management, stakeholder positioning, and public narrative.

  • Provide strategic counsel on high-stakes issues, including crises, regulatory matters, leadership transitions, transactions, and market shifts.

  • Ensure communications decisions support long-term enterprise value.

  • Lead scenario planning and maintain crisis response frameworks and playbooks.

  • Prepare executives for media interviews, investor events, public appearances, and key industry moments.

  • Provide media training and ongoing executive communications coaching.

External Communications

  • Lead development and refinement of the Company's strategic narrative, reinforcing its leadership in audio streaming and digital entertainment.

  • Lead the Company's PR strategy to increase awareness, relevance, and visibility of the corporate brand and content portfolio.

  • Partner closely with Marketing to ensure earned media efforts amplify paid, owned, and social campaigns.

  • Oversee proactive media outreach to secure high-impact placements across entertainment, culture, business, technology, and advertising press.

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with media outlets across operating and target markets.

  • Own enterprise reputation management, including proactive identification and mitigation of reputational risks across global operations and regulatory environments.

  • Oversee communications for product launches, content partnerships, creator initiatives, advertising innovations, and corporate milestones.

  • Develop creative PR campaigns that generate cultural relevance and earned buzz in support of brand and audience growth objectives.

  • Collaborate with Finance to develop and execute financial communications strategies, including earnings, and investor communications.

What You'll Need:

  • 15+ years of progressive senior leadership experience in corporate communications, preferably within a media, technology, streaming, or high-growth digital company.

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • Experience developing and executing cross-functional communications strategies aligned with business objectives.

  • Demonstrated success managing complex, high-visibility communications environments.

  • Proven ability to lead and scale high-performing teams.

  • Extensive experience operating within highly matrixed, global organizations and influencing senior stakeholders without direct authority.

  • Strong background in crisis communications and enterprise risk management.

  • Experience with financial communications and investor relations.

  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills with strong executive presence.

  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $300,000 to $325,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply
