What You'll Do:
The Customer Service Custom Coordinator - Custom Orders provides high-quality customer service and builds strong relationships with Pelican's Concierge Customer network. This role supports business operations by managing customer orders from inquiry through shipment, including quotations, order entry, and coordination of custom requests.
- Responds to customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, order status, and custom requests, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
- Prepares quotations, confirms lead times, and enters orders in SAP with a high level of accuracy.
- Monitors order progress and proactively communicates updates, delays, or changes to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinates custom order requirements, including specifications and drawings, ensuring customer needs are accurately captured and configured.
- Reviews order backlog and inventory availability; communicates constraints and recommends alternatives when needed.
- Provides product information and guidance to support customer selection and satisfaction.
- Investigates and resolves customer issues by coordinating with internal partners and following through to closure.
- Maintains accurate records in systems (e.g., SAP, CRM, NCRs) in compliance with company policies.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 2-4 years of experience in customer service, order management, or a similar operational environment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with a focus on customer support.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems preferred.

What you may be doing:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be frequently required to execute standard physical activities within the facility areas (i.e. stand, walk, sit, use hands/fingers).
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be frequently required to execute non-standard physical activities within the facility areas (i.e. climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch).
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Compensation & Benefits: Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across severalU.S. geographic markets. Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The annual U.S. pay range for this positionis listed below. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on your qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills,and experience.
