Description
A Brief Overview Under the direction of the Director of Investor Reporting, the Intern will assist Investor Reporting in the production of the Quarterly Reports to Investors. Additionally, the Intern will work on special projects as assigned.
What you will do
- Assemble and update the Fund Binder on network and in Investor Portal.
- Enter new property and new fund data into database. Manage existing data and facilitate review for data integrity.
- Assist with Special Projects to organize and ensure standards met regarding centralizing data and documentation.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- Associate's Degree Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college and completed 1 year of college toward obtaining degree with a focus in Finance, Business or Real Estate or related field required. Required
- Bachelor's Degree Currently enrolled in University and have completed at least 1-2 years of college toward obtaining bachelor's degree. Preferred
- Education in Finance, Accounting, Business or Real Estate. Required
- Interest and/or education in real estate finance, real estate development, affordable housing or related field. Preferred
- Ability to initiate and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with team members.
- Strong analytical and skills, including oral and written presentation skills; ability to identify and ask questions; ability to reason and crosscheck references.
- Good client and public presentation skills; excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills, highly attentive to detail, and able to perform tasks with limited supervision in a time sensitive work environment.
- Exercise sound judgment and fairness in decision-making.
- Communicate with co-workers, management, clients, and others in a courteous and professional manner.
- Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
- Proficiency in MS Suite Office, especially MS Excel and MS Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Requires a self-motivated individual who pays close attention to detail and who can prioritize in a fast-moving environment with excellent consulting, client management and business literacy skills.
Compensation We are committed to offering competitive and equitable compensation. The hiring range for this position is generally $21.00.
You must be able to pass a drug, background screen and physical abilities test/motor vehicle record check (if one is required per the position).
