Job Summary

Job Description

The Director, Business Development is responsible for growing our business by identifying new market opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will be an assertive and creative self-starter who understands the importance of staying ahead of the competition and positioning the company for long-term success.

Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities that align with the company's overall strategy and growth targets
Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients and key industry influencers
Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing plans to achieve revenue targets
Monitor and analyze market trends to identify new business opportunities or threats
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of sales, marketing, and product development efforts
Lead negotiations with clients to secure new business and manage contract negotiations and renewals
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of competitive landscape and industry trends
Provide regular reporting and analysis of sales activities, revenue performance, and pipeline growth
Participate in industry events and conferences to promote company brand and expand network
Continuously improve sales processes to drive efficiencies and effectiveness

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field
10+ years of business development experience in a B2B environment; Proven track record of driving revenue growth through new business development
Strong understanding of sales processes and ability to lead complex sales negotiations and contracts
Ability to think strategically, anticipate market trends, and develop comprehensive sales and marketing plans
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations
Expertise in CRM systems, sales automation tools, and reporting tools to facilitate sales analysis and reporting
