GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sr. Director Recruiting leads a talent acquisition team who provide a consultative recruitment approach, driving consistent communication with hiring teams, providing market analysis, executing creative sourcing techniques, candidate assessment, and other talent related activities.

This position leads, develops, and executes through a team, the full-lifecycle recruitment process and strategies across Retail brands (including Licensed Opticians), partnering closely with internal clients and external candidate populations. The position will focus on individually hiring leadership positions plus leading a team allocated to hiring for a designated retail business function.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Counsels HR and executive leaders on proactive recruitment strategies aligned to business needs.
  • Design and implement recruitment models leveraging internal teams and external vendors to support growth.
  • Lead and develop a large direct and indirect recruiting team, building nextlevel talent.
  • Manage the full recruiting budget, including headcount, vendors, systems, and costperhire optimization.
  • Own the endtoend recruitment strategy, including resource planning, vendor management, KPIs, and service delivery models.
  • Drive continuous improvement by monitoring industry trends and adopting innovative talent acquisition practices.
  • Build and manage relationships with RPOs, executive search firms, general staffing partners, and temp agencies.
  • Create talent attraction programs, events, and campaigns that strengthen the employer brand and pipeline.
  • Develop and execute internal and external hiring strategies that elevate talent quality and improve hiring outcomes.
  • Provide thought leadership on internal mobility and talent movement across the network.
  • Develop, track, and analyze talent metrics to evaluate performance and inform strategy.
  • Partner with HR to integrate workforce planning across the organization and recommend solutions to talent gaps.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelors degree in HR, Business or related area
  • 12+ years of Recruitment experience across Agency & / or In-house environments (ideally both & covering any or multiple of high volume, salaried and executive positions)
  • 6+ years Recruitment or HR team leadership, demonstrated examples of leading through leaders and a building teams with an internal development methodology
  • Background leading & implementing high volume & executive level recruitment projects
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking, negotiation and project management skills
  • Background owning recruitment change management across; TA processes, policies & team structures
  • Strong knowledge of current market practices and trends in talent acquisition
  • Thought leader; strategic and progressive thinker - uses data and analytics to drive decision making


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • MBA OR Masters degree
  • Experience either with global consumer / healthcare related business within North America or international experience in a large North American business

Pay Range:192,394.80 - $239,351.20

This posting is for an existing vacancy within our business. Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
