Cabin Rebrand Engineer

STS Technical Services is hiring a Cabin Rebrand Engineer in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a high-impact engineering role focused on transforming aircraft interiors to meet evolving brand standards while maintaining strict regulatory compliance. The Cabin Rebrand Engineer plays a key role in transforming aircraft cabin interiors to align with updated brand standards. This position supports the development and execution of engineering work packages related to cabin modifications, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and operational excellence. The role involves cross-functional collaboration and ownership of projects from initial design through implementation.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, or related field) preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
  
• Familiarity with FAA (FARs) and DOT regulations related to cabin components, materials, finishes, and flammability requirements preferred
  
• Working knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance Manuals and related technical documentation preferred
  
• Understanding of STC and ODA certification processes is a plus
  
• Prior experience within a commercial airline, military, OEM, or MRO environment preferred
  
• Experience with Delta systems (e.g., AMDS, Insight, OTIS, EARTH, SCEPTRE) is a plus
  

• Develop, design, and support implementation of programs, repairs, inspections, and modifications related to aircraft interiors (including seats, lavatories, and galleys)
  
• Create and manage Engineering Work Packages supporting cabin reconfiguration and rebranding initiatives
  
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Planning, Engineering, and Materials teams to coordinate modifications and repairs
  
• Author and review engineering documentation, including:
  
  
  
  • Engineering Repairs and Authorizations (ER/As)
    
  • Action Authorizations (AAs)
    
  • AMDS work cards
    
  • Engineering drawings (CAD)
    
  
  
• Ensure all engineering outputs meet airworthiness and regulatory compliance standards
  
• Support maintenance teams in execution of engineering solutions
  
• Maintain compliance with FAA, DOT, ICAO, FCC, OSHA regulations, and company Technical Operations policies and procedures
  
• Promote and adhere to safety-focused behaviors in all operational processes
  

• Primarily office-based role
  
• Regular access required to active flight line, hangars, and MRO facilities
  
• Minimal exposure to hazardous conditions
  

• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences across formal and informal settings
  
• Proven ability to manage projects from concept through implementation
  
• Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, including internal stakeholders and external suppliers and agencies
  
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  
• Ability to develop and execute comprehensive action plans
  
• Demonstrated professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information
