Description

    Providing funding document origination and reconciliation efforts in support of the Test Resource Management Center's (TRMC) current year budget execution
  • Receiving internal funding requests for assigned programs
  • Preparing Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs) in the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) financial system in support of assigned programs
  • Coordinating with receiving organization financial points of contact to distribute and facilitate acceptance of MIPRs
  • Pulling document level reports from DAI financial system as required
  • Monitoring status of assigned MIPRs, following up on MIPRs in open commit status
  • Posting MIPR acceptances and/or associated contracts in DAI for timely obligation of funds
  • Assisting assigned program points of contact with monitoring spending, document status, program execution and other analysis as required
  • Providing reconciliation analysis on open documents based upon execution status and contract obligations
  • Providing additional tasks as directed by the Budget Execution Team Lead, the Financial Team Lead and/or the Chief Financial Officer as required

Requirements

  • Familiarity with Defense Financial Accounting system at the program element (PE) and fund cite level
  • Experience with Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) or comparable financial system (DEAMS, GFEBS, Navy ERP)
  • Experience with DD-448 (MIPR) creation, acceptance and reconciliation
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical, administrative, communication, computer, and organizational skills
  • Solid financial planning skills
  • Active Secret Clearance


Desired Skills

  • Familiarity with Planning, Programming, Budgeting & Execution (PPBE) process
  • Familiarity with Financial Management Regulations (FMR)
  • Experience at the Major Command, Service Headquarters, or Joint Program Office level

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
