Job Description Summary

Scaffold Operations Foreman

The Opportunity: 171% Growth Sunbelt Rentals is experiencing explosive growth in the Atlanta market, with E&D income up 171% month-over-month. We are looking for a high-caliber Scaffold Operations Foreman to help us scale our internal teams, eliminate the need for subcontracting, and lead our field execution to the next level.

Position Overview In this role, you are the driving force behind our field operations. You will supervise a direct crew or oversee up to (3) Lead Carpenters, ensuring every erection and dismantling (E&D) project meets our rigorous safety and quality standards. You'll balance high-level strategy-like scaffold design and material ordering-with hands-on leadership in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Strategy: Design complex scaffold systems and manage inventory flow to ensure zero downtime.

• Crew Development: Provide hands-on coaching to Lead Carpenters to grow our internal talent pool.

• Compliance: Maintain expert-level knowledge of OSHA regulations and manage all site documentation (JSAs, inspection checklists, work authorizations).

• Safety Leadership: Ensure all safety plans are followed strictly and intended loads are never exceeded.

Requirements

• Experience: 2+ years as a Scaffold E&D Lead Carpenter or equivalent supervisory role.

• Safety Mindset: Deep knowledge of OSHA scaffolding standards and a "safety-first" mentality.

• Skills: Strong organizational skills, ability to work at heights, and physical stamina (lifting 40+ lbs).

• Bonus: Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 40 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.
