Genesis10 is currently seeking a Financial Analyst for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
This role supports the Erica, Chat, and Voice Technology Team. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter responsible for managing and forecasting multiple programs, partnering with program execution teams, and tracking work efforts against team capacity. A strong background in financial analysis and project management within a technology environment is essential. Responsibilities:
- Manage and forecast multiple programs within a portfolio simultaneously
- Partner with the program execution team to balance multiple service provider estimates across a project within project funding limits and greater portfolio funding limits; identify options to mitigate any risk or opportunities that arise across the whole portfolio
- Track work efforts against team capacity and allocate in internal tools
- Aggregate and analyze project estimates (and required funding) across the various parts of the organization to derive a comprehensive team view
- Research funding gaps/discrepancies and assist in resolution
- Update view of total cost of applications across the organization and ensure resource alignment reflects which applications are being supported
- Maintain team roster and how resources align to managers and teams across the organization; monitor headcount changes in real time, facilitate hiring process, and create resource forecast on a quarterly basis
- Open and close requisitions, working with hiring managers organization-wide
- Manage daily reporting and exceptions
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding of resources
Requirements:
- Strong relationship, verbal and written communication, team building, and influencing skills
- Highly organized and motivated self-starter and quick learner
- Strong financial experience
- Ability to manage multiple financial priorities simultaneously
- Financial project management / technology background
- Willingness and ability to grow within the environment to become a subject matter expert
- Analytical experience and ability to make sense of data from multiple sources, and put into views for Executive consumption
- Ability to problem solve and provide creative solutions
- Experience with forecasting and financial analysis to ensure proper resource allocation is maintained to support efforts within funding limits
- Skilled experience with Microsoft Suite including Access and Excel
- Experience with Ariba, SharePoint, and VBA (MS Office Suite)
Desired skills:
- Prior experience with a global financial institution preferred
- Experience with finance/forecasting tools (PCM Web, PMMT, Ariba, SAFE, eLedger), staffing planning, and sourcing/procurement
- GEP SMART
- Workforce Management Portal
