Genesis10 is currently seeking an Information Security Analyst for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Chandler, AZ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. In this role, the Information Security Analyst will support the design, execution, and operationalization of the Critical Infrastructure/Control Plane program. This position is responsible for supporting the identification, assessment, governance, and resiliency enhancement of critical infrastructure, including control-plane systems and key dependencies. The analyst will partner with Security by Design, Cybersecurity Governance & Resiliency, technology domain owners, and third-party assessors to execute assessments, structured resilience reviews, remediation tracking, and lifecycle process development. Responsibilities:
- Support development and maintenance of an authoritative inventory of critical infrastructure, including systems, applications, control planes, components, and dependencies
- Ensure critical infrastructure assets and applications are accurately documented, tagged, and governed in the system of record (e.g., ServiceNow) with required metadata and named ownership
- Validate scope and definitions in alignment with enterprise-approved frameworks and program direction
- Execute critical infrastructure assessments using the approved cyber resiliency framework and control baseline
- Participate in and document Structured Resilience Reviews, including validation of architecture, system design, control planes, and interdependencies
- Identify, document, and communicate resiliency gaps, deficiencies, and enhancement opportunities
- Support prioritization of remediation actions based on risk, impact, and feasibility
- Contribute to the development and implementation of a sustainable CI Lifecycle Management process
- Support project strategy execution and prepare inputs for executive communications, roadmap development, and leadership updates
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education
- 7+ years of experience in information security, cyber resiliency, infrastructure risk, or technology risk management
- Demonstrated experience performing system-level assessments across complex enterprise environments
- Strong understanding of critical infrastructure concepts, including control planes, dependencies, and recovery considerations
- Experience working within enterprise governance processes and systems of record (e.g., ServiceNow or equivalent)
- Proven ability to document technical and non-technical requirements clearly for senior technical and executive stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills with experience speaking with high-level executives and an executive presence
- Strong collaboration skills across technology, security, governance, and third-party teams
Desired skills:
- Experience supporting resiliency-by-design, lifecycle management, or large-scale infrastructure initiatives
- Familiarity with cyber resiliency, operational resilience, or control baseline frameworks
- Experience facilitating structured working sessions or technical review forums
- Prior experience supporting application/infrastructure assessments or benchmarking engagements
