LOCATION: Sterling, VA
SUMMARY: The "Principal, ESS Solutions" position for the Security & Construction Management Division (SCM) provides strategic and technical leadership for the development and integration of advanced electronic security and force protection systems in support of U.S. government and defense programs. This position works to develop solutions, expand customer relationships, develop proposals, explore technologies which may be required in new ESS markets, understand staff requirements (such as state-required certifications), penetrate new markets with insights of the specific requirements, buying/procurement processes, and developing contacts. This position requires a full understanding of ESS technologies such as access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, perimeter defense, and integrated command-and-control systems. The successful candidate will have a proven track record managing complex Electronic Security Systems (ESS) programs within both a government contracting and commercial environment, with strong knowledge of DoD and other target market requirements, acquisition processes, and cybersecurity standards. May be required to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 15 pounds. Work Environment - The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The employee will normally work in a BCF integration facility or at the customer site for system installation and/or testing. The noise level in the work environment and job site can be loud. | |
