Summary

Sunoco LP is looking for an Associate Fuel Settlements Analyst to join our Operational Accounting team in Dallas. We encourage a culture of inquiry by always asking why, transforming data into meaningful information, and leveraging technology to streamline our processes

The Fuel Settlements Operational Accounting team performs end-to-end accounting and analysis for all fuel supply with various transportation modes, including pipeline, marine, truck, and rail, while ensuring accurate cost of sales and revenue reconciliation. This team is also responsible for bulk sales invoicing, truck transportation, RINS, broker fees, marine charter fees and billing, and the essential duties of this position are designed to ensure that all activities are captured accurately in the general ledger

Manages daily processes for supplier and customer accounts, and high-volume invoice queues for a portfolio of assigned customers or vendors

Resolves issues accurately and with a sense of urgency

Responsible for a high-volume of accounting information moving between multiple systems

Maintains productive relationships with all counterparties through proactive, effective communication

Analyzes financial results effectively, providing supporting details and insights that contribute to the company's success

Exhibits a record of sustained improvement in key metrics and contributes to the success of the overall team

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Education: Bachelor's degree required

Experience: 0-2 years

Required Skills: Proficiency in Excel required

Technical Skills: Experience with Power BI, Alteryx, or Robotic Process Automation tools is a plus

Preferred qualifications: Experience with SAP, RightAngle, Sales Force is preferred

Usually, normal office working conditions

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing

Occasional overnight travel may be required
