Ampcus Inc. is a certified global provider of a broad range of Technology and Business consulting services. We are in search of a highly motivated candidate to join our talented Team. Job Title: Business Analyst (Non-Technical). Location: Houston, TX. About the Role:
  • We are building out an enterprise-level change management and value realization capability and are looking for a Transformation Analyst to join a high-impact, growing team.
  • This is an early-career role designed for someone who is energized by transformation work, thrives in organized chaos, and wants to grow into a senior practitioner over time. You will report into the Transformation Management Office and serve as a core operational and analytical partner to the team.
  • Think of this role as the engine that keeps the Transformation Management Office running - you will help the team stay organized, move faster, and deliver higher-quality work.
  • You'll be embedded in the day-to-day rhythm of the office: maintaining our program backlog, building decks, tracking progress, and supporting the team in designing and delivering transformation initiatives across the organization.
  • If you are someone who is naturally curious about how organizations change, loves bringing order to complexity, and wants a front-row seat to large-scale transformation work - this role is for you.
What You'll Do:
  • Program Operations & Coordination
Own the operational rhythm of our team - maintaining the program backlog, tracking workstream status, and ensuring the team always has a clear, current picture of where things stand across active initiatives. Identify and surface risks, blockers, and gaps in program progress before they become problems, bringing a solutions-oriented mindset to every flag you raise. Prepare and structure stakeholder meeting materials - including agendas, pre-reads, and decision documents - and ensure actions and commitments are captured and followed through. Serve as connective tissue across cross-functional workstreams, helping the team stay organized and focused by owning the coordination layer beneath it.
  • Content & Deliverable Development
Build PowerPoint presentations and visual storytelling decks that communicate transformation progress, strategy, and insights to stakeholders at all levels. Assist in the development of change and adoption plans, readiness assessments, and program frameworks. Support the documentation and socialization of OKRs, KPIs, and success metrics across programs. Contribute to the creation of templates, playbooks, and reusable artifacts that scale the team's capabilities. Support the design and facilitation of working sessions and workshops, including building out session structures, activities, and visual collaboration spaces using tools like Miro.
  • Analysis & Learning
Conduct research and synthesize findings to support program planning and stakeholder analysis. Actively learn the methodologies, tools, and approaches used by the team - with a clear growth path toward taking on more independent ownership over time.
What We're Looking For:
  • 4 years of total professional experience, including at least 2 years in management consulting, strategic advisory, or a similar structured problem-solving environment.
  • Some exposure to transformation work - this could be digital transformation, operating model redesign, agile transformations, product or technology change programs, or similar initiatives; we don't expect deep expertise, but we want someone who has seen this kind of work up close and is genuinely curious about it.
  • A demonstrated interest in how organizations change, adapt, and realize value - whether through coursework, project experience, or self-directed learning.
  • Strong organizational instincts - you naturally track details, spot when things are falling through the cracks, and take ownership of keeping the machine running.
  • Some hands-on experience designing and facilitating workshops or working sessions, with comfort using virtual white boarding tools such as Miro or Mural to structure group work and bring ideas to life collaboratively.
  • Solid skills in PowerPoint and the broader Microsoft Office; comfort building clean, clear, visually compelling decks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to synthesize complex information clearly.
  • A collaborative, low-ego working style - you're comfortable supporting senior team members and learning from them while also taking initiative and running with assignments independently.
  • Some familiarity with OKRs, KPIs, or structured goal-setting frameworks is a plus, even if you haven't owned them end-to-end.
  • Curiosity and hunger to grow - this role is designed to be a launch pad, and we are actively invested in your development.
