*Job Title: Member Services Representative**Job Description*This position requires responding to inquiries and requests from members and other individuals within a 24/7 high-volume, schedule-driven, and structured contact center operation. You will provide information regarding our products and services, demonstrating knowledge, active listening, adaptability to multiple systems, and engagement methods to ensure an optimal member experience and customer service. Your role will involve performing transactions or related functions for savings, checking, consumer loans, credit cards, IRAs, and other accounts, as well as advising members of additional products and services that may meet their needs.
*Responsibilities* * Respond to inquiries and requests from members and other individuals. * Provide information regarding products and services with knowledge and active listening. * Adapt to multiple systems to ensure an optimal member experience. * Perform transactions or related functions for various accounts including savings, checking, consumer loans, credit cards, and IRAs. * Advise members of additional products and services that may meet their needs. * Engage in positive member interactions to enhance customer service. *Essential Skills* * Customer service expertise. * Proficiency in data entry. * Experience in handling inbound and outbound calls. * Familiarity with call center operations. * Ability to comply with policies in a high-volume, structured environment. *Additional Skills & Qualifications* * Experience in a call center, administrative, secretary/receptionist roles, banking/mortgage, or high-volume retail environment. *Why Work Here?*Join the largest credit union in the world, serving the financial needs of military personnel and their families globally. The contact center operates 24/7/365, offering the flexibility to accommodate your personal or family life. Scheduled breaks and meals are structured, with most shifts being flexible to allow a one-hour variation in start and end times. You will be taking back-to-back phone calls for the majority of your shift, with potential call durations of up to four hours before your next break. *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
