*THIS IS A CONTRACT TO HIRE OR FULL TIME POSITION LOCATED IN HOLLAND, MICHIGAN FROM DAY 1* *OUR CLIENT IS ONLY ABLE TO WORK WITH GC OR US CITIZENS AND UNABLE TO PROVIDE SPONSORSHIP* Description The ABAP Developer will serve as a technical expert within our SAP landscape, leading the design, development, and optimization of solutions across SAP S/4HANA. This role combines handson engineering with strategic thinking-ensuring our systems remain modern, efficient, scalable, and aligned with clean core principles. You will collaborate closely with product owners, functional analysts, and manufacturing, supply chain, and finance teams to translate business needs into elegant, highperforming technical solutions. Technical Excellence - Demonstrated strong technical aptitude and engineering mindset - Ability to transform functional requirements into clean, maintainable technical solutions - Proficient with performance analysis, tuning, and advanced debugging Core SAP & ABAP Competencies - Classic ABAP and Modern ABAP on S/4HANA 2023 - Experience with BAS, Eclipse/ADT, and SAP Fiori integration - Expertise in: Object-Oriented ABAP - Module Pool Programming - Function Groups - Reports, ALV IDA - Enhancements, User Exits - BAPI, RFC, IDoc - Adobe Forms - Data Dictionary design and optimization S/4HANA Extensibility & Architecture - Key User Extensibility - Pro Developer Extensibility - Clean Core-aligned development practices Modern SAP Application Development - CDS views, HANA database experience - RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model) - REST APIs, OData v4, SAP Gateway - Postman or similar API testing tools Module Exposure Experience with one or more SAP functional areas such as: - PPDS - aATP - SD - LE/WM - MM - FI - SCM Additional Skills & Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar field (In lieu of a degree, 2 years of relevant experience per missing year of education.) - Strong proficiency in ABAP programming language - 10+ years of design, development, and support experience in SAP technologies - 2+ years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA - Ability to work on-site in Holland, MI at least 4 days per week Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Holland, MI. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65.00 - $72.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
