Security Officer - Unarmed Zone Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Zone Patrol Driver in Reynoldsburg, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver standout customer service for guests and associates. You will document observations, communicate clearly, and respond to concerns with integrity and teamwork. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license in line with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail sales areas, common areas, entrances and exits, back-of-house corridors, and exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or policy concerns.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential theft indicators; communicate observations to store leadership and/or mall management per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, completing incident documentation, and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Control access to non-public areas by verifying credentials and/or authorization, providing directions to visitors, and supporting crowd and line management during peak shopping periods.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
