As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related concerns, and support patients, visitors, and staff through outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general information, and support a professional environment for patients, staff, and guests.
• Observe and report hazards, maintenance concerns, and unusual behavior, and/or assist with de-escalation support when needed in accordance with site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
