Project Business Specialist - Junior LOCATION:Hanscom AFB, MA JOB STATUS:Full-time CLEARANCE: Active Secret CERTIFICATION: N/A TRAVEL: <5% Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a PM-2 TGS Project Business Specialist - Junior for the Cyber TMAS II contract, supporting the Air Force. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field. *Additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for education.
- Active Secret clearance.
- Managing and processing civilian and military personnel actions in Air Force personnel systems
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication and customer interface skills. required.
- Managing multiple tasks simultaneously and establishing priorities to meet customer requirements.
- Administrative experience within a DOD environment.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Good organization, decision making, and verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in small and large team settings.
- Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Experience providing administrative support as an Executive Officer, on a Commander's Support Staff (CSS) or on a Commander's Action Group.
- Recent experience in Air Force personnel administrative duties at the Air Force squadron level or above.
- Proficiency in the use and integration of MS Office applications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the 96 CTG/Det 1 by managing and processing military personnel actions in Air Force personnel systems including Military Personnel Data System (MilPDS), Virtual Personnel Center (VPC), MyEval, MyDecorations Re-Imagined, LeaveWeb and others related to military personnel leave, performance reports, change of station assignments, temporary duty, and awards and decorations.
- Maintain, assign responsibility and track suspense dates for project meetings, team meetings, test meetings, test plans, test reports, and status reports. Maintain organization charts, recall rosters, spreadsheets and other admin documentation.
- Coordinate with HHQ's organizations regarding Organizational Taskings. Organize, display, and distribute taskings to 96 CTG/Det 1 Leadership, coordinate responses, and ensure timely delivery of required information up the chain of command.
- Assist with the document tracking system and records management. Determine what documents are required and incorporate them into government official records. Create, organize, and maintain electronic folders and reference material within those folders. Work closely with subject matter experts to accurately classify and index records based on current regulations and best practices.
- Coordinate extensively with leadership, peers and external organizations in the performance of responsibilities.
- Maintain the 96 CTG/Det 1 Air Force SharePoint site information.
- In-process and out-process 96 CTG/Det 1 employees.
- Research regulations and determine the relationship between guidelines and organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Perform 96 CTG/Det 1 additional duties as required to facilitate organizational operations.
- Maintain contact with other organizations, government agencies, managers, and contractors to exchange ideas and remain current on developments in area or field of responsibility.
- Participate with the primary staff of the serviced organization in developing and organizing policies and programs and other related concerns for program management.
- Write and run automated reports from a variety of computerized systems.
- Manage day-to-day administrative functions of an organizational program; conduct reviews and analyze program operations; advise and assist management with Human Resource processes.
- Assist 96 CTG/Det 1 leadership in the assignment, tracking, and completion of required training items for personnel within the organization.
- Assist 96 CTG/Det 1 leadership in the assignment and tracking of organizational additional duties and the completion of required Management Internal Control Toolset.
