About the Role

We are looking for a highly analytical and curious intern to help us build a next-generation Community Intelligence Engine for Legion's global gaming community.

This role sits at the intersection of data, marketing and strategy. You will work on a high-impact project focused on understanding and improving the health of our communities across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook. Need to go beyond just reporting. You will be expected to turn data into insights, and insights into action.

What You'll Work On

You will design and build a system that helps answer:

  • Is our community getting stronger or weaker over time?
  • What type of content drives meaningful engagement and growth?
  • What should we do differently to improve community outcomes?

Your work will include:

  • Defining a Community Health Framework (beyond vanity metrics)
  • Aggregating and analyzing cross-platform social media data
  • Identifying key drivers of engagement, growth, and retention
  • Building a dashboard to track community health on an ongoing basis
  • Translating insights into a clear, actionable growth playbook

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a structured framework to measure community health across growth, engagement, and advocacy
  • Analyze content performance across formats, themes, and platforms
  • Identify patterns that explain what works, what doesn't, and why
  • Build dashboards (Power BI/Tableau) for ongoing tracking and decision-making
  • Deliver clear recommendations to improve engagement and community growth
  • Present findings in a concise, business-oriented format

Stretch Opportunity

  • Build predictive models to forecast content performance
  • Identify early signals of declining engagement or community fatigue

What We're Looking For

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with data analysis tools (Python, Excel, SQL, or similar)
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Understanding of social media platforms and digital content dynamics
  • Ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills
