About the role:

The Security Manager will manage the development and implementation of an effective Global Security&Resiliency strategy and program to mitigate risk, safeguard the organization'spersonnel, intellectual property, integrity, reputation, and physical assets to ensure continuity of operations under leadership and guidance from the Senior Security Manager. This rolemanages the security program to align with corporate programobjectivesand address all aspects of security for the organization's global businesses. This includes,but is not limited to,access control, guard service management,site assessments,budgeting,training,investigations,incidentand crisismanagement,and emergency preparedness.

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a fully-onsite work model requiring employees to be in office five (5) days per week.

Your responsibilities will include:



  • Support the development and implementation of a corporate-wide security plan that assesses current threats and vulnerabilities;identifiesprotection goals,objectives, and metrics consistent with corporate strategicobjectives; and details the efficient and cost-effectiveutilizationof security resources





  • Manage securityvendors





  • Develop policiesand procedures





  • Participate in training exercises to ensure sitereadiness





  • Partner withcross-functionalteams includingReal Estate,Facilities, Legal, Human Resources,Finance, and IT





  • Create andmaintainprofessional relationships with localandfederalfirst responders





  • Craft well-written reportsand other contentthatiseasily consumed at the Executive level




Required qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree


  • 5+ years of security industry experiencein a corporate environment


  • Working knowledge anddemonstratedexpertisein access control systems and video management systems

Preferred qualifications:


  • Master's Degree


  • Certification through a recognized security industry accreditation organization such, i.e., PSP, CPP, etc.

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) - see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com-will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
